Ric(ard)us 1. In the name of god amen the xijth daie of Aprill
Righton 2. in the yeare of our lorde god 1561 that I Richard
- Ryghton in the p(ar)ishe of Suttebie husbandma(n) holle of
- mynde and goode of remembrance makes this my
- laste will and testament as foloweth ffirste I bequeathe
- my Soule to god allmightie and to all the blessed
- companye in heaven and my bodie to be buried w(ith)in
- the churchyarde of Sottebie and that the lawe requyie
- to be my mortuarie Item I bequeathe to Jennett my
- wyfe one browne quie and one browne cowe with a whyte
- lehoke and all the goodes that she broughte to me when we
- weare maryed and iij ewes and iij lambes and one fillie
- and one Sowe and all my lynnyn and harden cloathe
- and halfe my copye Item I bequeathe John harryson one
- whyte cowe and one ewe and a lambe and Jennett my
- wyfe the halfe the Saltefleshe that we have and my
- wyfe & children everie one of them one ewe hogge and
- Isabell Ingall one greate panne and twoo dooblars and
- Elizabeth Ingall ij peutar dooblar and the residewe
- of my goodes unbequeathe I geve to John Toxworthe
- whom I make my full executour and the copie of my
- house that I wount in duringe my yeares and he to
- geve and distribute to the poore three goode frydayes every

Richard 1. In the name of God amen the 22nd day of April
Righton 2. In the year of our Lord God 1561 that I Richard
- Ryghton in the parish of Sutterby husbandman whole of
- mind and good of remembrance make this my
- last will and testament as followeth First I bequeath
- my Soul to God Almighty and to all the blessed
- company in heaven and my body to be buried within
- the churchyard of Sutterby and that the law requires
- to be my mortuary Item I bequeath to Jennett my
- wife one brown quie and one brown cow with a white
- lehoke and all the goods that she brought to me when we
- were married and 3 ewes and 3 lambs and one filly
- and one sow and all my linnen and harden cloth
- and half my copy Item I bequeath John Harryson one
- white cow and one ewe and a lamb and Jennett my
- wife the half the Saltflesh that we have and my
- wife & children every one of them one ewe hogg and
- Isabell Ingall one great pan and two doblers and
- Elizabeth Ingall 2 pewter doblers and the residue
- of my goods unbequeathed I give to John Toxworthe
- whom I make my full executor and the copyhold of my
- house that I lived in during my years and he to
- give and distribute to the poor three Good Fridays every
- one day 6s. 8d. and to pay my debts and legacies
- and to bring honestly to the ground Item I bequeath
- to Jennette my wife half an oxgang of land and
- meadow with it and a little house in the garth and she
- to pay every year 8s. witness hereof Master
