On Saturday afternoon 27th June 2026 at 1400hrs, St John the Baptist, Sutterby.
We held our annual Patronal Day celebration of the little church, which sits at the very heart of the Spirit of Sutterby Project. It was a hot sunny day in the church, but Father Peter Coates did a grand job leading the celebration, and the congregation was in fine voice.
Afterwards, we went to Langton Village Hall for tea and cakes.
As Kate Witney (the Sutterby Song Bird) had a Birthday the previous week she was presented with a cake, which she cut and we helped her to eat it!
