Today was a pottery workshop with Andrew and Victoria MacDonald from the Pot Shop, held at Swaby Village Hall. 2 sessions one in the morning and another in the afternoon because of the number of would-be potters.
After a short briefing from Andrew, we were let loose with the clay and attempting to make “Green Men” or “angels”. Both Andrew and Victoria assisted us with ideas and advice on their manufacture. The finished items will be taken to Lincoln where after they have dried, they will be fired in the kiln and returned to Denise.
This was another of the many workshops the pair have helped us with, each one being a good and pleasurable experience. We look forward to the next.
